The art program consists of several different classes that allow the members to explore and express their creativity. We aim at providing every member with the opportunity to engage in an activity that they are interested in, and we feel like we can do that now by offering these different classes.
The classes include lessons in beads and jewellery making, drawing, painting, acting, and photography. In all the art classes we implement education in the creative expression. This allows the members to acquire knowledge at the same time as they are learning to master different techniques for expression. The final products from these classes are being sold at markets and fairs in Nairobi. This serves the purpose of showing our members that there are opportunities to make a living out of being creative and expressing yourself through different forms of art.
