PROGRAMS

At Wale Wale Youth Center we offer several different programs to accommodate the diverse needs and interests of our members. The academic program is the foundation of our organization by providing academic follow-up, homework support, and classes that enhance the members’ knowledge about different topics and subjects. To complement that, we provide a variety of creative classes within the frames of the arts and dance programs. Additionally, we have a football academy that provides the members with the opportunity to develop their talents on and beside the football field.

Yearly themes

Every year, we come up with a number of themes guiding the activities and programs. Examples include climate change, mental wellbeing, fashion identity and personal hygiene. We try to incorporate the themes in the weekly programs, developing and deepening the knowledge of our members and providing variety of activities. Three times a year, we host an event called “Fun & Discovery”, basically a theme day where we dedicate a full day of learning to the theme.
