We are happy to announce that we by Forum Syd – a Swedish development organisation – have received a grant of 1.1 million kes. The grant will be used to put together a show addressing and discussing the issue of violence against young people in Kenya. In the end of August the whole Wale Wale crew (30 people) will go on a one week tour to western Kenya and the county Siaya where we will perform in 7 different venues. This week we are happy to start the journey of creating the show that will include drama, music and off course dancing. Through this show the youth of Wale Wale will be the right carriers and ambassadors of Children’s Rights.
We have started thorough practice in which we are putting together a show that will not only entertain the audience but also inspire to think and discuss.
