The film portrays the youth of Wale Wale on their show tour to Kisumu, Kenya. The purpose of this show and the accompanying tour was to create awareness and to spread information about child abuse in Kenya. The youth themselves created the choreography and performed the dancing on their own. The film was shot, directed and edited by our own film production team.

We would like to give thanks to the Children’s Office and the Child Helpline, who was with us to share information about the legal issues of child abuse and to offer parents and children alike opportunities to solve their problems without violence
The Swedish organization Forum Syd has been funding expenses for training, traveling and matters involved with the show itself.

Also, making the documentary would not have been possible without the support from the French Embassy in Kenya, who granted us the opportunity to buy film and music equipment. All essential to make this happen.

From all of us to all of you – enjoy!
