During five weeks Wale Wale and the Swedish School in Nairobi have been working together with a project about Happiness, Meeting places and Opportunities. The five project leaders at Wale Wale worked together with ten of the graduates of the Swedish School of Nairobi in order to create different ways of expressing what Happiness, Meeting places and Opportunities can be in Sweden and in Kenya. This became 5 different projects; Interviews in Kibera, Spoken Word, Modoya and two music projects (Happy and Happiness).
This was a very interesting project that led many discussions and that gave the youth new knowledge about another culture. It was a great opportunity to work with the youth of the Swedish School in Nairobi, and we hope that this is the first of many collaborations between Wale Wale and the Swedish School.
