With the holiday season just starting we are very happy to announce that a new international Wale Wale branch has been added to the Wale Wale family – Wale Wale USA! Gianna Biaggi, an American intern who has been with us for most of the autumn, is the founder and chairperson of this new foundation. The aim of Wale Wale USA is to raise funds for the youth centre in Kibera and to promote contacts and exchanges between USA and Kenya through pen pal programmes, volunteering opportunities and internships. Wale Wale USA will make it easier for our American friends to connect with and contribute to the work of Wale Wale Kenya.
