We – Wale Wale work team – are still working hard with our campaign #SHAREASQUARE. We are so glad to announce that we have some great news to share with you.
Our new cooperation with Aime aime design has just started – PRINT FOR A SQUARE! If you buy ONE print at Aime aime design, ONE square foot donates to our campaign. We believe that this is a great way to share more squares aroud the world and we also love to cooperate with people or companies that are creating art in different ways since art is a great interest at the center.
We are regularly arranging art classes for all different ages at the center. We believe that creating art is a great way to express your feelings and thoughts to each other. It is a great way to make your voice heard concerning different social issues going on in the area.
Aime Aime is a picture factory. The prints are limited, numbered and signed and they are hand-made and unique. We – Wale Wale Kenya – love Aime aimes design and art-work.
The creater behind Aime Aime is Mathilde Aime who a visual artist and printmaker, a graphic designer and photographer from Paris in France. She wrote at her website that “each small series tells a different story”. This is what we like to focus on at the center, to be able to tell stories and reach out to people through different art forms.
